Independence

The following test on Pure Whey from Performance has been requested by our site Supplementlabtest.com and is therefore an independend test. The product has been ordered and delivered directly to the laboratory Nutricontrol.

Summary

By use of the nitrogen analysis a protein content of 71,1% has been measured for the taste vanilla. This represents a deviation of -4,1% compared to the specified percentage of 74,1% on the label. An amino acid analysis is required in order to exclude amino spiking. The measured carbohydrate content of 9,4 grams is lower than the 12,4 grams indicated on the label and consists mostly of sugar. The sugar content of 8,9 grams consists of 2,3 grams lactose and 6,6 grams glucose from added dextrose. This is lower than the 12,4 grams indicated on the label. So currently a good result for Pure Whey.

Analysis

On the report below the crude protein (ruw eiwit) content with a nitrogen factor of 6.38 for dairy products is the correct value for the nitrogen analysis.
