Summary
By use of the nitrogen analysis a protein content of 71,1% has been measured for the taste vanilla. This represents a deviation of -4,1% compared to the specified percentage of 74,1% on the label. An amino acid analysis is required in order to exclude amino spiking. The measured carbohydrate content of 9,4 grams is lower than the 12,4 grams indicated on the label and consists mostly of sugar. The sugar content of 8,9 grams consists of 2,3 grams lactose and 6,6 grams glucose from added dextrose. This is lower than the 12,4 grams indicated on the label. So currently a good result for Pure Whey.
